About

TIPS (Tracking Implementation for Program Success) is a web-based fidelity tracking application designed to help educators providing intervention and special education services document the implementation of interventions and instructional programs. This application can be used as a daily and weekly record of implementation of an individual student's intervention plan. Fidelity data are critical to understanding student responsiveness to the intervention or program and in helping educators improve their implementation over time.

TIPS was developed by the National Center on Intensive Intervention (NCII) and PROGRESS Center, U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs funded centers. The content included in the TIPS application is adapted from the NCII Student Intervention Implementation Log and includes consideration about whether the teacher and students were present, if the intervention was delivered for the duration that was planned, whether the participating students were engaged, and whether the intervention was delivered as designed.

This application was produced under the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs, Award No. H326C190002 and H326Q210001.
